new study published in the Israel Medical Association Journal  looked at  the short-term effect of cannabinoid-enriched hemp oil for relieving symptoms and improving the life quality in young girls with adverse drug effects following human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination. The study found that  the CBD-rich hemp oil to be a promising treatment.

The researchers used the CBD-enriched hemp oil over a three-month period. The participants consisted of a group of 12 females between the ages of 12 and 24 who all suffered from severe somatoform and dysautonomic syndrome following the administration of the HPV vaccination. They were given sublingual CBD-rich hemp oil drops, 25 mg/kg per day, supplemented by 2-5 mg/ml CBD once a week until a maximum dose of 150 mg/ml CBD per day was reached over the three-month period.

The results were encouraging, the authors of the study  said that their research “demonstrated the safety and tolerability of CBD-rich hemp oil and the primary efficacy endpoint. Randomized controlled trials are warranted to characterize the safety profile and efficacy of this compound.”
