According to a 2006 report in American Scientist, “alcohol is more lethal than many other commonly abused substances.” The report goes on to also mention that drinking “a mere 10 times the normal amount of alcohol within 5 or 10 minutes can prove fatal, whereas smoking or eating marijuana might require something like 1,000 times the usual dose to cause death.”

Nobody has ever died from marijuana use, or from overdosing on marijuana.

It’s funny how marijuana was illegal, while substances like alcohol and cigarettes remained legal. By now, most people know this was strictly to serve government interests. Now that it’s legal, people still have concerns, the main one being that the government, who are in large part controlled by corporations, are starting to grow the marijuana to they can sell it.

Here’s a great quote from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to illustrate our point:

Even the pharmaceutical companies have been able to purchase congress. They’re the largest lobbying entity in Washington D.C.. They have more lobbyists in Washington D.C. than there are congressman and senators combined. They give twice to congress what the next largest lobbying entity is, which is oil and gas… Imagine the power they exercise over both republicans and democrats. They’ve captured them (our regulatory agencies) and turned them into sock puppets. They’ve compromised the press… and they destroy the publications that publish real science. (source)

These are people that we can’t trust, which is why we do what we do. We connect people with compassionate doctors so they can obtain a prescription to grow as much as they require under Canada’s ACMPR program.  If you’d like assistance to make sure you go through the process legally and the right way, please contact us about acquiring a licence and we’ll help you through the process every step of the way.

Now, take a look at the graphs below.

Prescription drugs prescribed by a doctor, as well as pain reliever addictions, have led to a combined 42,000 or so deaths in 2014. This is even more than alcohol! Prescription drugs come with a great number of downsides and also happen to be the biggest business.

This is ridiculous, and cannabis can actually replace a number of prescription drugs. There are still doctors who are unwilling to write a prescription for you, but again, that’s where we come in.

Once you mail out the prescription along with the ACMPR document you are not legally allowed to begin growing. While it is very common for people to start growing because they believe that the Doctor is basically the gatekeeper to the program while Health Canada is more administrative, you are not yet legal and could get in trouble with the law. You have to wait until Health Canada mails you your official licence and then and only then are you legally allowed to begin growing.
