Charlotte Figi was an American girl with Dravet syndrome who took cannabidiol (CBD) oil to prevent seizures and inspired the name of the medical cannabis strain called Charlotte’s Web. Dravet syndrome is a severe type of epilepsy characterized by prolonged seizures that begin in the first year of life. It is a rare condition that affects one in 20,000 to 40,000 people worldwide. CBD was effective for Charlotte, and has done wonders for many others.

What CNN may not disclose here particularly is that CBD has helped countless amounts of children manage their epilepsy, effectively, with no danger. If you do your research, it’s something that’s not very hard to see.
